Affiliated with the Japan Karate Association, USA Karate federation and recognized by the UAE Karate Federation, AKC stands out as one of the top traditional and modernized Shotokan Karate Clubs in the UAE, USA and around the world.

Since 2013, AKC Karate has been training students for excellence.

In our vibrant learning environment, children develop discipline and coordination, while youth focus on self-esteem, leadership, and concentration through our professional curriculum. Adults, guided by our skilled black belt instructors, find empowerment in achieving fitness goals and learning self-defense techniques.

Sensei Moideen Sha

Sensei Moideen Sha started karate in 1995 in South India under Sensei Musthafa. With 25 years of experience, he holds a 5th Dan (Godan) Black Belt in the Japan Karate Association and a 3rd Dan in the WKF. He founded AKC Karate Club and is head coach of its elite competition team.

After winning gold in Sri Lanka in 2011, he established the Amateur Karate Club in Abu Dhabi. He has competed in over 100 tournaments, earning numerous titles, including gold in Men’s Advanced Kata and Kumite at the 2011 International Tenshinkan Karate Championship.

Now Managing Director of AKC Karate Martial Arts International, he is one of the youngest accredited coaches by the UAE Karate Federation. Moideen’s passion and experience help him cultivate champions in martial arts and life.
